FAQ's
Where is the Workshop?
The workshop will be held at Bliss Studios - 3833 Steele St E, Denver, CO 80205. It's located on the south-most side of the complex. Parking is plentiful and free!
What time is the Workshop?
The workshop will run from 12-4 on each day.
What do I need to bring?
On Saturday you will need your camera and some sort of stabilizer if you have one. On Sunday, you will need your laptop or desktop pre loaded with Premiere and your footage from the previous day loaded onto your computer. I will be providing some water and snacks, but should you like something else, please bring it along! *We will have a limited amount of space for desktops.
Are you limiting the amount of participants?
Yes! I'd like to keep things small and intimate to make sure that everyone walks away with the knowledge they need. For that reason I'm limiting the workshop to 10 participants.
What types of models will be there?
I'm planning on having 3 sets of models. Right now I plan on having a bride and groom, a couple, and possibly a mother/child or senior girl. The model lineup is subject to change up to the workshop.
Does it matter what camera I have?
Nope! As long as your camera has video capabilities you are good to go! We will be focusing on shooting with a DSLR however. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me! kelsey.luciano@gmail.com
Why Premiere?
Premiere is one of the leading industry standards in video editing. Another option is Final Cut Pro X, but we do not have time within the constraints of the workshop to explore both.
Do I need to buy Premiere or upgrade my Adobe membership?
If you plan on doing video in the future, a professional editing program will be a necessity, but for the workshop a free trial of Premiere will suffice.
I have no idea what I'm doing...
Thats ok! I'll be walking your though every aspect of video from setting up your camera to exporting from Premiere. As long as you have an understanding of shooting in manual and the exposure triangle, you will be good!
How do I pay?
Payment can be collected electronically through PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. I will send a request or link when you sign up!
